VIDEO – Farmers relaunch protest by covering three radars in Bouches-du-Rhône – France Bleu

During the night, several farmers, members of the Rural Coordination, gathered in the construction of a tarpaulin and tags three radars. The frustration is visible, because according to Nicolas Pellegrin, a winemaker in Lambesc, “the State did not keep the promises they made in February”.

Symbols and applications

The radars were surrounded by black plastic film, and “Country Coordination” tags with a dangling carrot as a symbol were added. Only the promise of support for non-road diesel (GNR) is respected, says Caroline Lecanuet, president of rural coordination in Bouches-du-Rhône.

Farmers who are at risk of climate

In addition to these problems, operators face losses due to natural hazards. Nicolas Pellegrin, who is also a beekeeper, regrets that half of his livestock was lost to Asian hornets this summer. The action marks the start of a new phase of protests, with farmers hoping to draw attention to their ongoing problems.
