A new tourist attraction in Amsterdam has appealed to several well-known voices. Today, the Rembrandts Amsterdam experience opens on Leidseplein. Visitors are immersed in seventeenth-century Amsterdam with the help of video projections and special effects.
The initiators engaged several renowned voice actors for the story, including Arnold Gelderman (83), Hein Boele (81) and Paul van Gorcum (87).

Gelderman is known, among other things, as the Dutch voice of Scar in De Leeuwenkoning. Boele provided voices for Harry Potter, Winnie the Pooh, DuckTales and Sesame Street, for example, but we also know him as the narrator in the Efteling attraction Villa Volta.
Baron 1898
Van Gorcum caused a furore as the Baron in Bassie & Adriaan, Zazoe in De Leeuwenkoning and Gargamel in De Smurfen, but he is also the voice of Gustave Hooghmoed in the Efteling rollercoaster Baron 1898.
A video report from YouTube channel Stemmen van Toen shows the voice actors in action while shooting the scenes. Gelderman plays Rembrandt van Rijn. Other voices in Rembrandt’s Amsterdam are of actress Ellen Parren and actor Ricardo Blei.
