Slovak hockey player Samuel Honzek also scored a goal in the second game of the Calgary Flames in preparation for the new NHL season. After recording two assists in a 6-1 win over Seattle on Monday night, he had three helpers in a 6-3 win over Edmonton on Tuesday night.

Calgary played two games with the “oilers”, one on home ice and the other in Edmonton, winning both (6:1 and 6:3). Martin Pospíšil, who assisted the hosts’ first goal, and Honzek also appeared in the Oilers ice line.

The 19-year-old assisted on Calgary’s last three goals and has a good record of 0+5 after two games. The Slovaks did not participate in other duels.
