DSP Vrancea Team, Department of Health Promotion, consisting of Dr. coordinate Madalina Dumbrava and ace. hygiene and public health Mariana Cancenskialong with Dr. Elementary School of Obstetrics-Gynecology Georgiana Joitarumade an informational and educational activity for 12th grade students from “Ghe. Tatarescu” Art High School.
The main aim of this activity is to provide young people with accurate information regarding:
Prevention and risks of sexually transmitted diseases;
the issue of unwanted pregnancy and proper use of contraceptive methods;
HPV infection – the main cause of breast cancer and the importance of prevention by vaccination in girls and boys.
Access to the right information gained from health education can influence young people’s future decisions.
