DUBAI – Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev will be the world team for the first time in his career on Monday. Serb Novak Djokovic lost in the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Dubai to the Czech Jiří Vesely 4: 6, 6: 7 (4) and he will lose the post of renking leader.

Medvedev will be the third Russian player to sit on the men’s tennis throne after Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Marat Safin.
