A number of children came to the Semarang Mayor’s Office carrying posters. The poster contains an invitation to love children with HIV/AIDS. They campaigned for no more discrimination against children with HIV/AIDS.
Two children with HIV/AIDS from the Rumah Aira Orphanage joined the group. Lack of education has resulted in children with HIV/AIDS having no friends. They were shunned for fear of contracting the disease.
The community is expected to no longer give negative stigma to children with HIV/AIDS. Because the disease is inherited from his parents who were first infected. Other children don’t have to worry about getting infected, because HIV/AIDS is not transmitted through touch.
