The Romanian Dacia Duster SUV, the most affordable off-roader in Europe, was subjected to an interesting comparative test drive. The model produced in Mioveni provoked two of its direct rivals to a duel. It’s about Lada Niva and Suzuki Jimny.
The test was attended by a Dacia Duster facelift4WD with 1.5 dCi engine 115 hp, a Jimny equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and 110 hp and Niva with the classic 1.7-liter petrol engine and 85 hp.

The new Duster facelift was launched last summer. The local SUV received a series of stylistic details specific to the new Dacia visual identity. They debuted on the new Logan, Sandero and Sandero Stepway.
Thus, the optical blocks integrate the “Y” shaped daytime running lights with the new Dacia light signature. Duster facelift is the first model of the Romanian manufacturer equipped with LED indicators on the face. The technology is also used for automatic headlights, but also for license plate lighting.
Dacia Duster facelift benefits from a 214 mm ground clearance in the version with 4WD all-wheel drive system.
