Around 5 a.m., I decided to take my car and go straight to the hospital. When I arrived, I told them ‘you have to call the doctor right away, there is something wrong, I have chest pain, it takes my breath away’. “
Contaminated without knowing it
After treatment, Amirouche Hammar was able to leave the hospital three days later. According to the doctors at that time, he had a pulmonary infection. This father of four goes home without any worries.
It’s only four months later that he learns from Professor Yves Cohen, head of the resuscitation services at Avicenne and Verdier hospitals, that he is the first patient in France to have contracted coronavirus.
I was told “you are 100% positive for Covid-19 ″”.
A news that surprised Amirouche Hammar. Doctors were able to confirm that this inhabitant of Bobigny was a carrier of the virus thanks to new tests which were made on samples from hospitalized patients in December. The analyzes revealed that Amirouche Hammar was well contaminated.
