After a test day, India and its 1.3 billion inhabitants confined themselves for a minimum of three weeks on Tuesday March 24.
A decision that was immediately seen in the streets of New Delhi where the chirping of birds replaced the usual cacophony of horns and cries. Similar scenes were visible all over the world, where now more than 2.6 billion people live in isolation – nearly a third of the world’s population.
