On May 16 this year, around 08.45, the police officers from the Cluj Road Bureau issued a regular stop signal for a driver who was driving his car on Bucharest Street, in the city of Cluj-Napoca.
As he did not stop at the regular signals, the traffic policemen started chasing him with 2 motorcycles, being intercepted shortly on Roșiori street in the municipality. During the search, the driver hit two parked vehicles.
The police immobilized the man, later finding that he was under the influence of alcohol, having a concentration of 0.52 mg / l pure alcohol in the expired air, being taken to a medical unit to take biological samples.
Also, after the verifications, it was found that the man had his driving license revoked as a result of committing traffic offenses.
The police detained the man for 24 hours, being detained in a Detention and Preventive Arrest Center.
Investigations are underway into the offense of driving a vehicle without a driver’s license and driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
