The “Jugend musiziert” program is the most important music funding program for young people in Germany. Held annually at regional, state and federal level, almost a million music-loving children and young people have taken part in the competition in the almost 60 years of its existence. This year, the corona pandemic has completely turned the competition mode on its head, because the usual face-to-face preludes are completely impossible.
