The city of Hamburg, New York, U.S, is trapped under the low temperatures, winds and waves that reach up to five meters in height. Most of the streets and houses in the town were completely frozen.
The city dwellers viralized photos and videos of places affected by the frozen blizzards. For their part, several people have warned about the danger of the collapse of structures.

Sean Crotty, Hamburg emergency services manager, alerted residents that the weight of the ice could cause cables and trees to crash.
Lakes, houses, buildings and cars are now covered by several layers of dense ice.
This weekend the city registered temperatures of at least 10 degrees Celsius below zero.
