The year 2020 should actually be a very special one. The small town of Taucha was 850 years old and the manor of the small town was a proud 800 years old. A reason to celebrate. Actually. Thanks to the corona pandemic, everything changed. But: There are also rays of light that repeatedly show how creative we humans can be – even at a distance. And it is precisely this important idea, which people in many places exemplify with actions, is taken up in the approximately 12-minute program “Christmas ray of light from Taucha – 2020”.
Jonas Juckeland, who originally wanted to celebrate the premiere of his film “Small Town, Big Heart” this year, shows in this Christmas program an excerpt that reports on the Christmas flair of Tauchas before Corona. In addition, divers have their say in small greetings, Annelie Hampel brings a Christmas carol on the trumpet and Mayor Tobias Meier looks back briefly on 2020. Overall, a video that fits the mood very well with the Christmas season.
