Demand for graphics cards fell to a 20-year low in the third quarter of 2022, according to a report by analyst agency Jon Peddie Research, the data was published by the Tom’s Hardware portal.
Sales of video cards during the third quarter fell to their lowest level since 2005, according to the report. NVIDIA graphics card shipments are down 40% and AMD sales are down 74% compared to 2021.
It was known before NVIDIA quarterly revenue down 72% on an annualized basis. These data were significantly influenced by the gaming division’s revenues. This segment managed to earn $1.5 billion, which is 51% less than the same period last year and 12% less than in the second quarter.
