VIDEO: Behind the scenes of Samantas Tina ‘s Eurovision song – Music

On the evening of March 12, on the Latvian Television program “How to win at Eurovision? Samantha Tina’s Way to Rotterdam “was presented with a video of the song” The Moon is Rising “. The process of filming the clip was a creative challenge for the team and unprecedented professional experience as it was filmed over the phone.

“We filmed with a camera and for the first time in my professional career with a Samsung phone,” says cameraman Ritvars Bluka.

“I additionally equipped the phone camera with a Moment anamorphic lens to get the color and details of 1960s cinematic shots. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a “Professional Shooting” function and the ability to adjust the auto focus – which was great for the shooting process. In addition, we used the FilMicPro app, which allowed us to get even more colors and a wider video frame exposure ”.

Filming the Eurovision song took 15 hours, but the preparation process was only a month, which was worked on by the creative team – director and producer Samanta Tīna in collaboration with Aiga Baikov (AiProduction) and cameraman Ritvars Bluka. The filming took place on both floors of E. von Trompovsky’s quarter and was attended by a total of about 50 people, including 18 professional dancers and 12 girls, each of whom symbolizes a unique, individual image of a woman in the context of the song.

“The filming process of the video clip was amusing, long and cold – the thermometer bar showed around -10 degrees – but it was all worth it, because it was the best with me!”, Singer Samanta Tīna shares her impressions about the filming. “The song encourages all women who are different to love themselves. Only we can crown ourselves queens! ” is convinced Samantha.

The final of the 2021 International Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 22 May in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and the semi-finals will take place on 18 May and the second on 20 May. Latvian representative Samanta Tīna will take the stage in the second semi-final.
