One of the detective teams – Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare – and the host of the show Mārtiņš Spuris has turned out to be an amusing approach to the final of the second season of the TV3 musical show “Voice Mask”. Shortly before the big event, both kept the word given to the people and jumped into the Daugava.
On Friday, May 7, at noon, there was a lot of activity on the left bank of the Daugava. Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare and Mārtiņš Spuris were going to do what they promised the whole of Latvia less than two weeks ago: if it turns out that Māris Grigalis is hiding under the Planet mask, they will both jump into the Daugava. And it turned out that Grigalis was hiding under the mask of the Planet.
Also in the show “Voice in Mask” in the semifinals at the end of last week, Baiba saidthat the given word tends to be kept, so there was no going back.
Two days before the final of “Voice in the Mask”, in the presence of Jānis Šipkēvics, Krivenchy, and watching Grigalis all along the way, Baiba and Mārtiņš energetically emerged from the yacht deck and jumped into the still unheated water of the Daugava.
“We did it!” praised Baiba.
The final of the show “Voice in the Mask” is expected on Sunday, May 9, at 20:00 on TV3 and next generation TV Go3.
