Manchester City footballers won Sunday’s match of the 3rd round of the FA Cup against London’s Chelsea 4:0.
Winger Riyad Mahrez scored twice for the home side, while Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden each added one. City will meet the winner of the duel between Oxford and Arsenal in the fourth round.
Aston Villa surprisingly said goodbye to the cup, losing 1:2 at home to fourth league Stevenage.
The Premier League side took the lead in the 33rd minute through Morgan Sanson, but Leander Dendoncker was sent off in the 85th minute and the visitors took advantage of the powerplay to score two goals. Jamie Reid gave the first penalty and Dean Campbell decided in the 90th minute in a sensational procedure.
