He had been actively sought for five days and the savage attack on a security guard at the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center in La Défense, in the Hauts-de-Seine.
On Monday March 28, 2022, a 38-year-old suspect was arrested near the train station in Sarcelles-Saint-Brice-sous-Foret (Val d’Oise). It was the agents of the Scnf railway security who spotted the individual after having recognized him thanks to the photographs released by the police.
They arrested him around 5:15 p.m. before handing him over to the police. The individual was taken into custody at the Sarcelles police station, before being picked up during the evening by the police officers from the Puteaux police station in charge of the investigation. The latter had to determine if it is indeed the author of the blows.
The facts date back to Wednesday March 23, 2022, around 9 p.m. The mall security guard, former thai boxing championhad been beaten up by his attacker who had surprised him by punching him in the face without him even having had time to say a word to him or make the slightest gesture.

Seized by the shoulders, the victim then falls to the ground receiving a rain of punches. A scene of incredible violence that had been filmed by the mall’s CCTV cameras.
On the images, it is possible to see the individual leaving with his backpack leaving the security guard inanimate. Taken care of by the firefighters and transported to the hospital, the vital prognosis of the latter was then reserved. The man would always find himself in the coma this Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
An investigation having been opened for aggravated violence, the reasons for this aggression remain to be determined.
