EL NUEVO DIARIO, NEW YORK.- The veteran merenguero, Aramis Camilo, surprised his fans, singing and dancing his classic musical theme “El motor”, in a corner of New York City, United States.
In a video clip, published on the Instagram account of journalist Félix Victoria, it shows the popular merenguero dancing the emblematic choreography of his popular single released in the 80s, considered the golden age of merengue.
“That man does not age”, “He is whole and healthy”, “From my favorite merengueros”, were some of the comments that the singer’s publication received, who entertained all the community members who walked through the area, thanks to his charisma .

He began his career as a singer in the early 70s, in the province of Baní, in the Luichy Herrera orchestra, where he remained for four years. At the end of the 70s he settled in Santo Domingo feeling attracted by the importance of the capitals of the world. In the beginning he worked at the Piano Bar Don Guillermo de Guillermo Henríquez.
