Video and photos .. the moment an astronaut found a golf ball on the moon’s surface

Recent high-resolution images of the moon revealed a ball lost 50 years ago in space during the “Apollo 14” mission on the moon.

And found in the pictures on a golf ball lost by the astronaut, Alan Shepard, on the surface of the moon, where he said that it traveled “miles and miles”, but the images indicated that the ball only crossed 40 yards (36,576 meters).

On February 6, 1971, the American astronaut and commander of the “Apollo 14” mission, Shepherd, hit two golf balls on the surface of the moon, in a final show by the astronauts of the “NASA” mission on the moon before returning to Earth.

One of the balls fell beside the hole, but the other was said to have traveled “miles and miles”, at least by flight captain Shepherd.

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the newly restored pictures of the “Apollo 14” landing site indicate that the golf ball was not as successful as the astronaut initially thought.

In fact, the first ball fired by the flight captain came 24 yards from the hole, and the second ball only flew 40 yards.

The second ball was found during the survey of the moon, using the technique of “stacking”, where many pictures were taken of the missing ball.
