Salvadoran Álex Roldán and Seattle suffered during their visit to Motagua for “Concachampions”, look at everything that happened
A positive and hopeful point. Seattle Sounders rescued a draw against Motagua at the Metropolitan Olympic Stadium this Thursday for the Round of 16 of the Concacaf Champions League.
The Salvadoran defender and captain of the Selecta, Alex Roldanplayed the entire match against the Hondurans.
Roldán was in charge of neutralizing the advances of Olego and Elvir on the right wing of the Sounders. It was a very tough night for the MLS team as the locals were the owners of the highest number of shots.

With 0-0 in the bag, the Sounders will host Motagua at Lumen Field on February 24.
But Sounders will not be able to rely on the result at all. In the past two editions ago, Olimpia left them eliminated in the same instance in the penalty shootout. In that second leg, Álex Roldán was a substitute for the entire match.
If they advance in the series, the Sounders will face the winner between New York City and Santos Guápiles in the Quarterfinals.
