Alexandra Côté, a dog training specialist from Thetford Mines, in Chaudière-Appalaches, wowed the judges of the popular show America’s Got Talent, on NBC, Tuesday night.
With her two border collie dogs, Tesla and Louka, Alexandra Côté engaged in a frenzied choreography to the rhythm of the song Body Talks de The Struts et Kesha.
The white and brown Tesla mastered perfectly the movements of the paw which corresponded to those of his mistress and jumped with agility above it; she also skipped skipping rope perfectly. The two doggies then twirled and hopped according to the indications received.
The trio’s performance ended with a warm ovation from both the audience and the judges, who granted Alexandra and her four-legged partners a pass to the next stage of the competition.
“I think it’s my favorite dog number this season,” said judge Simon Cowell.
Heidi Klum compared Tesla and Louka to kangaroos, while Sofia Vergara confessed that she would have liked to see more.
Alexandra Côté told the camera aboutAmerica’s Got Talent that it was with her first dog, Gizmo, now deceased, that she started canine tours. The young woman, who has also been seen on shows here such as Animation, at VAT, and Crazy pig, in Télé-Québec, has its dog training business in Thetford Mines.
In May, Alexandra Côté granted an interview to Journal of Quebec in view of his passage to America’s Got Talent.
“What I hope is that it brings me clients and that people open up to teach their dog more things, that they know that anything is possible. I would also like to give more shows across Quebec, ”she confided on a daily basis.
