VIDEO: A pensioner hits several cars in Ādaži market square

A pensioner, who has relatively recently obtained a driver’s license, has noticed four cars parked in the parking lot in Ādaži Market Square and also thoroughly damaged his vehicle, the program “Degpunkta” reported.

After visiting the market, the lady wanted to get out of the parking lot, but she was embarrassed by the large number of cars, and she decided to drive around the sidewalk. Unfortunately, at the fateful moment, something happened to the woman and she pressed the accelerator instead of the brake pedal, causing a collision of several vehicles and thoroughly frightening the people and market vendors standing behind the counter.

“She was driving here at an abnormal speed,” says eyewitness Aigars.

It was fortunate that the woman-driven Volvo did not hit any pedestrians, because according to eyewitnesses, many people were walking around the parking lot at that time. The driver himself, except for a serious fright, did not suffer the incident and called the police himself.
