In social networks, images of two policemen immobilizing a man on a street in the Czech city of Uherske Hradiste circulate for not wearing a mask, while his 3-year-old son cries with his father at the indifference of the security agents.
According to publication of Facebook where the video was disseminated, the events occurred on March 10 when the man returned with his son from a playground. A witness took the boy in her arms and reassured him. The publication also quotes the child’s mother, who explained that her husband was detained because “he simply did not want to put on the mask.” He also denounced that the agents took his partner leaving the child on the street.

The images they provoked outrage in Czech society and many condemned the actions of the policemen. However, the mayor of Uherske Hradiste, Stanislav Blaha, asserted than the video does not show the whole story. The councilor said that he was also surprised when he saw said audiovisual material for the first time, but that after speaking with the two agents involved, he discovered that the man ignored their requests and showed aggressive behavior.
