VIDEO: A man assaults a television host in Ecuador with a pistol and the cameraman records the scene

DIRECTV Sports host Diego Ordinola posted a video on Friday about the moment he was assaulted by a man with a gun, when he was trying to broadcast.

On Friday afternoon, Ordinola and his team were filming outside the Isidro Romero Carbo Monumental Stadium, from the city of Guayaquil, when a subject who was holding a weapon approached the driver to demand his mobile phone.

“There is my phoneOrdinola said, and the assailant turned and pointed at one of the production members, who finally gave him the cell phone and the man fled. The cameraman followed in the footsteps of the thief and managed to record him when he escaped aboard a motorcycle, on a road.

“We can’t even work quietThis happened at 1:00 pm today outside the Monumental Stadium, “Ordinola wrote on his Twitter account, along with the video of the assault.

The television host reported that the Ecuadorian National Police “promised to find these criminals.”
