The latest “Audi RS” driver’s chair in the studio “RJ76 Films” show “Your Car TV“a sitting man who runs a large radio business every day. Philip Ruben has been for 10 years”Radio SWH“Commercial director, he also serves on the board of the Latvian Broadcasters’ Association. Although Philip perceives the car as a means of transportation on a daily basis, it can not be overlooked that the Biķernieki track shows fervor and excitement.

Although the Audi RS3 is no bigger than the Volkswagen Golf, it hides a five-cylinder 2.5-liter TFSI engine with 400 hp under the hood. It is equipped with semi-slick sports tires, has a quattro all-wheel drive and – yes – can reach 100 km / h in just 3.8 seconds. Maximum speed – 280 km / h.

The power of the five-cylinder engine is dissipated on the road by a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. You can select one of the Audi Drive Select modes to change the driving settings, making this car as suitable as possible for everyday use.

What makes this car even more interesting is the fact that it is the first all-wheel drive Audi model to use torque splitter technology. Thanks to this, the RS3 is able to apply a different traction to each of the wheels, thus improving handling in cornering and traction in bad weather.

Unlike the multi-axle differential used in previous RS models, the new system is equipped with two electronically controlled multi-clutches (one for each wheel), ensuring that the required amount of torque is optimally and continuously distributed between the wheels.

In addition, by changing the driving modes in the car’s settings (there are seven in total), you can adapt the car to everyday traffic – making it quieter and calmer – and make it much sharper and more uncontrollable, directing most of the torque directly to the rear axle. When driving in “RS torque rear” mode, it is possible to enjoy not only sharp feelings, but also beautiful skidding. Depending on the car kit, the maximum speed of the RS3 is electronically limited to 250, 280 or even 290 km / h. In addition, in the latest versions, this car is equipped with ceramic brakes.
