Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, when their home was raided.
The brothers’ lawyer confirmed their detention.
“The four suspects may have formed an organized criminal group with the aim of recruiting, housing and exploiting women, forcing them to create pornographic content to be displayed on specialized websites,” the prosecutor’s office said, according to information provided by the news agency. Reuters.
Tate moved to Romania five years ago.
For the first time, Tate gained popularity outside of sports by participating in the 2016 season of the British show ‘Big Brother’, which ended quite dramatically.
