Shortly before midnight on the border of Pļavnieki and Purvciems, or on Augusta Deglava Street, the police were stopped by a driver of a car, who obviously needed help. As it turns out, the woman had given birth and the stewards agreed to accompany the young couple to the maternity hospital.

The approximately five-kilometer-long road, accompanied by police officers, was completed in just six minutes, and there was not much to explain at the barrier either. After escorting the expectant mother to a medical institution, the young man later returned to the police, confirmed that the birth had indeed begun, and thanked for the response and assistance.
