Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny believes that Ukraine’s victory should mean not only the liberation of territories, but also such a strengthening of the Ukrainian army so that Russia will never again attack Ukraine.

Details: Zaluzhny expressed this position in a telephone conversation with the Supreme Commander of the Allied NATO Armed Forces in Europe and the Commander of the US Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli.
Their conversation took place on the eve of the meeting of the contact group on defense issues in the Ramstein format.
Zaluzhny and Cavoli discussed the delivery of international military assistance to Ukraine and the training of Ukrainian units on the territory of partner countries.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared with his American counterpart the assessments of the operational situation on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war and plans for further actions.
