HENRIK RYDSTRÖM AFTER THE MATCH

– I was very dissatisfied with what we did in the first half. Then I have a suspicion that it may be so. We face a hungry opponent who sees this match as something very funny. I don’t think we handled it well. We seemed to think it was hard. We gave them too much time. Nobody took “ownership” in the defensive game.

– We tried to get rid of it in the second half. I am clearly more satisfied with the work effort and that we give them less time with the ball. We defend our goal well. But our own game is too slow and static for us to be satisfied. A lot depends on ourselves. We can use it as an alarm clock. But it’s still early in the season. Things look worse. There are a lot of things that we need to do better when we take on these types of matches.
