Roy Vittoria, coach of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that he considers the friendly as the official one, underlining that Belgium are a great opponent.
Vitoria said during the match’s press conference: “We are facing a very big opponent who is preparing for the World Cup, and we know the match is difficult, but we are ready.”
Vittoria added: “I look at the efficiency of the player and his commitment on the pitch, not at his age, and the Egyptian national team combines experience and youth.”
And he continued: «I consider the friendly as the official one, and we need to achieve a positive result».
He concluded: “We have great players and illustrious professionals, and we are also facing an illustrious team.”
The Egyptian national team will conclude training today, Thursday, in view of the friendly match against Belgium, scheduled for five in the evening, tomorrow, Friday.
