“Victory Day Parade in Moscow: Only One T-34 Tank Featured – What’s the Reason Behind It?”

In the military parade in Moscow, which takes place every year on May 9 in honor of the Victory Day celebrated in Russia and stands out for its scope, this year only one tank – the World War II model T-34 – is shown, according to public video footage of the parade.
This is the second May 9 since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine launched by Russia, during which, as experts admit, the occupiers have suffered colossal losses of military equipment and heavy casualties. This does not automatically mean that there is no suitable equipment for the parade.

Just like last year, the aviation part was also absent from the parade, but the bigger surprise is the presence of only one T-34 tank. These old World War II tanks are used by Russia for parades and reconstructions. At one time, they were bought back from Laos for this purpose. An interesting fact is that the T-34 project was developed in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.
