Cyclists measured 168.4 kilometers with a higher climb in the first half of the distance. The victory, six cyclists finishing within nine seconds, was won by Laurent, who was two seconds ahead of his four followers, the silver medal went to Antonia Morgada from Portugal and the bronze to Martin Svrček from Slovakia.
Krasts finished in 30th place in the competition of 176 cyclists, losing four minutes and 54 seconds to the winner, also earning five world ranking points. Belohvoszczyk and Kokle, like 95 other cyclists, retired.
It has already been reported that Krasts took 33rd place in the individual race on Wednesday. The World Championship in cycling sports will take place in Glasgow until August 13.
