Victoria Beckham Opens Up About Husband’s Alleged Affair in New Series: The Hardest Period of our Marriage

In the series, Beckham talks openly about her husband’s alleged affair with model Rebecca Luce, describing it as the “hardest period” of their marriage.

The couple previously denied allegations that he had an affair while playing for Real Madrid in 2003.

“It was the hardest period for us because it felt like the world was against us,” Beckham says in the new series.

“To be perfectly honest, we were against each other.”

The couple does not discuss the details of what happened.

But Beckham reveals: “You know, until Madrid sometimes it felt like we were against everybody else. We were together, we were connected, we were for each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we were for each other either. And that is sad.”

“I can’t even tell you how hard it was and how it affected me,” Beckham said.

Speaking about the press attention when she and the children moved to Spain with her husband, she added: “It was a nightmare. From the moment we opened the press, we were in the car and everywhere we went we were followed. It was an absolute circus – it’s really entertaining when the circus comes to town, isn’t it? Unless you’re in that circus.”

“Honestly, I was the most unhappy I’ve ever been.”

Meanwhile, the former England and Manchester United midfielder – now owner of Inter Miami – spoke about how speculation about his extramarital affairs affected him and his family.

“There were some horrific stories that were hard to deal with,” he said. “It was the first time Victoria and I had been under that kind of pressure in our marriage. I think we both felt at the time that we weren’t losing each other, we were drowning.”

He added: “I don’t know how we got through it, to be honest.”
