Otherwise, the match did not start well for the home team, who had to see the visitors score the first two goals. Before the end of the first period, however, Tampa had managed to equalize, thanks, among other things, to a forward pass signed by Hedman.

Climbing the table

After playing a scoreless middle period, Tampa was able to score two goals, the second via a turnaround where the Swede found Nikita Kucherov who easily scored 4–2.

The night’s harvest means that Hedman climbs to fourth place among the league’s most scoring backs.
