Dr. Víctor Alejandro Espinoza Valle took office on Friday, March 4 as president of El Colegio de la Frontera Norte (El Colef). His term will run until 2027.
Espinoza has a doctorate in Political Science, Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid and the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers and prior to his appointment, he worked as a professor-researcher at the Department of Public Administration Studies.
Espinoza was selected in a process of auscultation, internal and external. The appointment was made by Dr. María Elena Álvarez-Buylla Roce, General Director of the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT).
In his first message as president of El Colef, Espinoza, according to a statement, said that the institution will enter a vanguard moment and update its research and teaching programs, with the aim of seeking the well-being of the population on the northern border. and the rest of Mexico.
