Victor is a very present, difficult-to-play centre-forward who poses a challenge for every defender just because of his physicality.”
Boniface first knocked out Union Berlin with Saint-Gilloise in the last Europa League season before making a lasting impression with a goal against Leverkusen in the quarter-finals. Overall, the 1.89 m tall attacker scored 17 goals in 51 competitive games last season.
Boniface is to replace Czech striker Schick, who, according to the club, will not return until October after an adductor operation.
