Once again, train accidents have returned to the headlines, after a train derailed in Qalyub, which killed two citizens and injured 23 people so far.
The Ministry of Transport said that the accident occurred at 7:20 a.m., while entering a passenger train carrying No. 557 at Qalyub station, to meet another train, but the driver passed the “closed semaphore” and continued walking, which led to the train entering the railway ending in the protection part at the end.
