bali.jpnn.com, Kupang – Apart from Covid-19, dengue fever, apparently, is a threat to the residents of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) during the rainy season like now.
The NTT Department of Health, Population and Civil Registration (DKKPS) reports four people died world, yesterday (31/1).
“The number of patients who died from dengue fever was four people.
There was an increase from the previous week, only two people,” said Head of Communicable Disease Prevention and Control (P2PM) DKKPS NTT Agusthina Rospita.
The four cases of patients who died were spread by one person each in Kupang City, Sikka Regency, Ngada Regency and Nagekeo Regency.
The newly deceased patient was reported from Kupang City and Ngada Regency.
Apart from the patient dengue fever The number of people who died increased, the number of cases treated by mosquitoes also experienced a significant increase.
He said that until now, the number of dengue fever cases in NTT has reached 766 cases from the previous 540 cases.
