Victims of charter fraud held a press conference today at the National Assembly.

They urged that a plan to purchase deposit bonds should be included in the special law.

Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Hee-ryong, who visited the National Assembly, still drew a line about the so-called ‘recovery after pioneering’ plan that the victims demanded.

Victims of charter fraud stood in front of the National Assembly.

In the special law on charter fraud, the government first argued that the “preemption system regret” plan should be included in order to purchase bonds for the return of deposits from victims.

There is no disagreement between the ruling and opposition parties on the ‘Amendment to the Framework Act on Local Taxes’, which requires tenants to pay rent deposits before local taxes, and the ‘Amendment to the Appraisal Judiciary Act’, which strengthens sanctions against appraisers involved in real estate crimes.
