London – Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper, passed away on the night from Thursday to Friday. The man who captivated the country, and the world, in the late 1970s with an ongoing series of brutal murders of young women was hospitalized earlier this week after becoming infected with the corona virus in prison. He did not want to be treated. Sutcliffe was 74 years old.
