Among the wounded there is a child
One woman died and six others were injured in a fire at the Central Hotel in central Sofia. Among the victims are a 12-year-old Belgian girl and a one-and-a-half-year-old boy, according to emergency services at NOVA. All the injured are foreign nationals. They are housed in the VMA and “Pirogov”.
The fire was reported at 6:10 am, the metropolitan police explained. The people from the hotel were immediately evacuated. According to preliminary information, the fire broke out from the second floor. Circulation in the area was cut off.
