By pressing the alarm button located on the totem, the neighbor instantly connects with personnel from the Urban Monitoring Center and from the central they notify the patrol with an alertso you can quickly spot where you need to go.
In addition, each Safe Point has a dome camera, which manages to visualize the situation in the place more clearly, and a loudspeaker, as well as a panic button, which is an emergency button that, when pressed, activates the alert. Pre-recorded messages and audible alarms can also be transmitted.
At the same time, all conversations are automatically recorded in case they are required by law. Each point is integrated into the municipal network of surveillance cameras, alert system and Monitoring Center.
In relation to this, Mayor Soledad Martínez stated: “Today we meet an important milestone, which is to reach 100 installed Secure Points. The Safe Points are totems where the residents in each of their neighborhoods can activate a button and immediately connect with the monitoring center where we can assist them immediately with the SAME, the Municipal Patrol, Civil Defense and Firefighters.”
“This is a policy that we started with Jorge Macri two years ago where we installed the first Safe Point and today we have reached 100. Being able to continue with this security policy that we implemented together a long time ago is very important for all our neighbors,” concluded the communal chief.
