Vice-President of the MPLA fulfills a 48-hour schedule in the province of Huíla – Jornal OPaís

The Vice-President of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) Luísa Damião has been working 48 hours in the province of Huíla since this afternoon.

The working visit of the Vice-President of the “comrades” Party in the province of Huíla, is part of the celebrations of the founding date of the party that supports the Angolan Government, marked on December 10th of the current year.

According to a program sent to our editors, Luísa Damião held a courtesy meeting with the first Provincial Secretary of the MPLA, Nuno Bernabé Mahapi Dala, from which she received information about the state of the party’s structures in this portion of the national territory.

This afternoon, the politician, together with members of the secretariat of her party’s Central Committee, visited the municipality of Humpata, to see the structures of her organization in that municipality.

Tomorrow, the MPLA Vice-President will travel to the municipality of Chibia, where she will lead a mass event and witness the assembly of activists that will be marked with the entry of new activists.

On the same day, Luísa Damião will also visit the Hospital Materno-Infantil do Lubango, Irene Neto, to find out how it works, and then offer a layette to the pregnant women accommodated in that health unit.

Still tomorrow, Luísa Damião will offer lunch to the children of Lubango, as part of the Children’s Christmas which will take place in one of the Hotel Units in the capital of Huila.
