“We are in permanent contact with Civil Protection and the Risk System. We are seeing the tail end of this potential cyclone. Venezuela attends to the information from the international organization,” Rodríguez said in a call to VTV.
He stressed that there were no serious damages in any state of the country due to the passage of the tropical cyclone.
He reiterated the information announced earlier by the Minister of the Interior and Justice, Remigio Ceballos, in which he indicated that the potential cyclone had lost intensity.
“We congratulate the Venezuelan people who have been sheltered and the civil authorities who have been deployed, already in the east of the country it tends to normalize,” he said.
