“For me, the vote of no confidence has already taken place. To ask for the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs in a situation in which a vote of no confidence has been requested on the subject of “security”, and that this resignation was not requested by the opposition, but by the mandate-bearing party – it means that they themselves admit that there are problems with security management in the country, i.e. the opposition is right”. Vice President Iliana Yotova commented on this New TV. “What will be the formal decision during the voting, I think is clear to everyone,” Yotova added.
When asked about the evaluation of the “Denkov-Gabriel” cabinet, the vice president commented that he was not even thinking about an evaluation.
“For me, this cabinet is morally bankrupt from the very beginning. They themselves said it was an “assemblage”, do you think it is normal for a government to be called an “assemblage”? Bankruptcy is when liabilities are more than assets. I think that from the very beginning they have more liabilities than assets,” commented Yotova.
According to her, the resignation of the interior minister can also be requested for the way he explained his absence on the evening of the protests in Sofia.
“The cinema explanation is an explanation for the naive and I don’t think it’s very proper to mislead the Bulgarian citizens in this way, because it’s insulting”, commented Vice President Yotova, according to whom it is also incorrect to place the blame on ordinary police officers.
Regarding the agreement reached on the steps to cancel the derogation, the vice president commented that, as a Bulgarian citizen, he wants the prices not to increase in the coming months and that this be guaranteed.
“To have security of supply, and not to excuse the fact that a tanker is delayed because they don’t let it go. Perhaps first of all – how do they imagine the development of the entire region in which the refinery operates, will there be layoffs people, will it be possible to maintain the full capacity of the refinery or will it be reduced – accordingly the workers will be laid off”, said the unknown Yotova.
“Has an analysis been made, will every job in Lukoil Neftohim be guaranteed to the last, will incomes fall to the people who work there, whether we, as citizens, will be able to use cheap fuels and whether our country has thought about how to financially restore both the company and the refinery, if necessary,” Iliana Yotova also asked, quoted by BTA.
