VIAVI’s 6G research and innovations will be a key focus, including energy-efficient neuromorphic receivers utilizing neural networks for signal processing; an innovative semantic dialog framework for metaverse avatars; and 6G position-Enhanced AI/ML-based beam management for FR3 centimeter.Further demonstrations will include a joint communications and sensing (JCAS) testing solution with real-time ray tracing technology and a digital twin of a real campus surroundings, leveraging VIAVI’s real-time ray tracing technology for RF emulation.

5G and Open RAN

addressing the global deployment of 5G and open RAN, VIAVI will showcase solutions for advanced lab validation, efficient field commissioning, and training for RAN Luminous Controllers (RIC) and Service Management and Orchestration (SMO) frameworks. Demonstrations will feature an O-RU testbed for massive MIMO and beamforming, and an end-to-end O-RAN testbed incorporating emulated and real user equipment (UEs). Critical Communications

With the commercialization of NTN networks, VIAVI will demonstrate its NTN digital twin testbed and resilient PNT solutions, addressing the need for ubiquitous coverage in critical communications and the growing vulnerability of PNT services to jamming and spoofing.

Quantum Security
