Vianney: this tribute to his grandfather who moves Internet users

Vianney has managed to make a place for himself in the world of French music. With his first title “Pas là”, the singer quickly entered the minds of the French, and has never come out since. His albums are always a great success. During confinement, he announced the release of a new title. He was therefore invited on the set of Laurent Delahousse on Sunday May 17 to unveil live his new song “N’attendons pas”. But the young man also wanted to pay a beautiful tribute to Johnny Hallyday. At the end of the show, he decided to perform a song by the rocker “I forgot to live”: “It’s a Johnny song of course, which I will sing. I did three concerts this week, and people sang it with me too. Patrick Bruel in his speech had quite piercing words, where he said that Johnny had never forgotten to live. And this song I love it so much, I find it so beautiful, that it is this one that I wanted to sing to you ”he confided.

“This song will be yours”

And this Tuesday, June 30, it is to his deceased grandfather that Vianney, affected by the coronavirus, decided to pay tribute. On Instagram, he posted a photo of him recording the titles of his album which will be released in September. He captioned the photo with the following message: “My little grandfather. 3 years. This song will be yours ”. A message that has greatly moved Internet users.

Very discreet about her private life, Vianney had already announced the death of her grandmother during a charity concert in March 2015 at the Olympia: “I lost my grandmother when I was 13 years old from the consequences of this disease. I have witnessed all the stages it went through. It was a shock to see her in the terminal phase. I felt helpless in the face of his suffering. It was terrible. This cause therefore particularly affects me. I am fascinated by people who scramble to help others. As a child, my model was Mother Teresa. To see this little woman achieve so many beautiful things is inspiring ”.
