The digitalization and delivery platform for bulk cargo transportation “Viangoo” has attracted co-financing from the state development financial institution ALTUM. The funding will be used for further development of the mobile app.
The amount of co-financing involved in the amount of 57,000 euros is intended for the development of the “Viangoo” app – programming works and adding functionality, as well as financing working capital.
Since its launch in March of this year, the Latvian startup has achieved a turnover of 1.6 million euros and expanded the number of transport units registered on the platform to 150. During this time, more than 2,400 users have registered in the app.
“2024. our turnover on the Latvian market could increase to at least 5 million euros. We plan to expand the company’s operations in Lithuania and Estonia as well,” Pēteris Kļaviņš, the founder and CEO of Viangoo, outlines the future plans.
According to the representative of “Viangoo”, negotiations are currently underway with several potential investors regarding investment in the company and financing terms: “In the next year, we want to attract more than one million euros for the development of the company in both the local and foreign markets.”
“The Viangoo company is a good example of how by working purposefully, analyzing market demand and attracting a loan from the state support program, it is possible to develop the company to a new level, rapidly increase turnover and ambitions. We want the company to continue growing in the Baltic market as well,” said Olita Untāla, head of the ALTUM Vidzeme region.
