Viacom18 joins Vivek Mohan Sharma as head of brand content – Marseille News

Vivek Sharma will report to Mahesh Shetty, Network Sales Manager, Viacom18.

Media and entertainment network Viacom18 named Vivek Mohan Sharma as the head of branded content. In her new role, Sharma will be responsible for leading content and branded solutions at the network level. Individually, he will be responsible for driving branded solutions for Viacom18’s Hindi mass entertainment, regional entertainment and children’s TV clusters by leveraging its outreach and social reach. In addition to this, he will also work with existing English Youth Music and Entertainment teams as well as the network’s VOOT digital game to create synergies and drive growth driven by advertiser-funded content. Vivek Sharma will report to Mahesh Shetty, Network Sales Manager, Viacom18.

An industry leader with nearly two decades of business management, revenue and marketing experience in the media, telecommunications and banking sectors, Vivek Sharma, with his in-depth knowledge of the industry, has led leadership roles at Mirchi, Idea Cellular, Deutsche Bank and ICICI Bank in the past. Prior to joining Viacom18, Vivek worked as a digital business manager and worked on the transformation of Mirchi into a leading brand of digital content and solutions. A graduate of the University of Delhi, Vivek Sharma completed her post-graduate management degree from TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal.
